The Mascara I’m Obsessed With

We desperately need to talk mascara. I found one that I’ve been basically shouting about from the rooftops. Seriously, I’m giving mascara recommendations to people who don’t even want them. That’s how IN LOVE I am with this mascara. Pull back the curtain, I’m ready to share again. Drum roll, please. What your makeup kit is missing is….Honest Beauty’s Extreme Length Mascara + Lash Primer. You know, Jessica Alba’s brand?

I had recently tried some of Honest Beauty’s skincare and was really intrigued by the makeup line. (Again, dewy, beautiful, Jessica Alba). When it comes to trying a new brand, I’ll usually test a mascara. Honest Beauty’s was a double whammy with a primer included- we know how I feel about a primer.

After trying a previous mascara that flaked into my eye and made me look like I had no lashes, I was prepared for anything.

However, I made up my mind after two uses. This is the type of mascara we’re all looking for.

So why is it a winner? Let me count the ways:

  • Lengthens and separates lashes (No clumps here)

  • Really opens up the eye (GOOD MORNING)

  • It basically refuses to smudge or flake

  • It lasts ALL day

  • Lashes look natural

  • Cruelty-free and Jessica is all about clean beauty

  • Removing it is like a dream - it’s like you weren’t even wearing any mascara

The removal is a BIG deal. I’ve never been able to get rid of my eye makeup fully in my regular routine. I’d always have to add some extra jojoba oil after my shower to remove the raccoon eyes. Since using Honest’s mascara, I’m not rubbing at tacky lashes, seeing loose lashes in the sink and definitely not making a second pass with eye makeup remover.

A total home run and I can’t recommend this magic tube enough. While it’s great thing to add to your makeup kit, it would be a perfect stocking stuffer or gift for the person who wants killer lashes. (Bonus: you can get it at Target). Now go on and bat those lashes!
